Extremely soft, almost cloud-like handle. The highest strandard a Cashmere throw can be, i.e. Hand-Spun and Hand-Woven in Kashmir using a sub-14 micron Chanthangi Cashmere Pashmina fiber.
What is a GI Kashmir Pashmina Throw?
The GI Tag is a non-removable sticker placed on a Pure Pashmina Cashmere shawl that has been authenticated by the Ministry of Textiles to be:
1.) 100% Handmade: The fabric is handwoven from yarn that is hand spun.
2.) 100% Pashmina Cashmere: The fabric's fiber composition is 100% Pashmina Cashmere.
3.) The Pashmina Cashmere throw has been handmade in Kashmir, the birthplace of Cashmere fabric.
The GI Tagged Pashmina Cashmere throw has a unique serial number printed on it that can be cross checked with the government website to authenticate the originality of the piece.
It certifies the Pashmina shawl as original and being 100% handmade all the way from fiber to fabric.
Weaves and Designs
